Our 3 key words are…

 respectful, responsible, and resourceful.

At the beginning of each school year we go over the meaning of each word.  We explain and model each expectation with the students.  We even have created videos in different areas of our school to model the expectations and create successful school-wide PBIS!

Each school that implements PBIS, can choose expectations that best fit their needs.  Visit pbis.org for more information.

How do we use PBIS?

We have posters that are hung so all can see and refer to during the day.

The expectation posters are in the bathroom, hallways, lunchroom, classrooms, and more!

The students take ownership of these 3 powerful words to make better choices throughout the school day.

The 3 expectations are school wide! Classroom, hallways, lunchroom, restrooms, bus, and more!

No matter where the students may be…the expectations stay the same.  Our school rotates through various incentives to recognize positive behavior.

Some ideas we have incorporated:

  • Tickets
  • Bingo Boards
  • Sticker Charts

Incentive Prizes:

  • Assembly
  • Ticket Store
  • Kickball Game
  • Movie Time
  • Bonus Field Trip
